The Storytrails team is a motley group of college students, retired professionals, cultural trainers, teachers, and professional storytellers, all of them drawn by the concept and adding to it in their own ways. Introduced below are some people you may run into at our den…

Vijay: Vijay is the founder and Managing Director of Storytrails. Vijay has an MBA from IIM Indore, and has worked in the Banking and IT industries. Being an avid traveler himself, and having traveled extensively on work and for pleasure, he started Storytrails in December 2006. He was recently awarded a Youth Achiever Award for innovative entrepreneurship by Yuva Shakti.

Akila : A post graduate in History, Akila has fifteen years of teaching under her belt. She has also been a Language Trainer in the ITES industry and now heads Research and Training at Storytrails.

Anuradha: Anuradha is an Electronics Engineer from Mumbai University. She enjoys writing and has won many prizes for short story writing. She is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer.
At Storytrails, she is a Research Associate and Storyteller.

Ashok: Ashok is a graduate in Economics from Madras University; and has more than 30 years of experience in Marketing and HR in large multi-national organizations. He specializes in people skills and has facilitated programmes in Team building, Outbound Experiential Learning, Cross Cultural Sensitization and Presentation skills. He has many years of experience in organizing experiential learning programmes for schools and corporate organisations. At Storytrails Ashok manages Out-bound Training programmes for Schools and Corporate clients.

Lakshmi: A trained  Montessorian and a professional Storyteller for many years before joining Storytrails, Lakshmi has also dabbled in advertising and theatre. Lakshmi manages Kids’ Trails at Storytrails.

Krishnan: An Organic farmer, a graphic designer, a landscape consultant, Krishnan wears many hats. But the one that fits him best is that of a nature enthusiast. Spiders really turn him on and he can make them sound more human than most people. Krishnan is a storyteller with us. 

Minesh: Minesh has an MBA from Missouri State university. He has worked in various roles across industries, and is a Corporate Trainer for soft skills, and behavioral and management skills. Minesh oversees the Cross Cultural Services at Storytrails.

Navarre: Navarre is a law student with a rich voice and an inclination to dance. This combination of talents makes him very busy and very popular. His flair for the English language comes through when he writes verse. At Storytrails, he helps with Research and Storytelling.

Aditi: Aditi is a graduate in Visual Communications, and an extremely talented artist. Aditi is one of our team of graphic designers, responsible for some of our posters and brochures.

Nirmala: Nirmala has an MBA from Symbiosis Institute, Pune. After a successful stint in Corporate HR she has been running her own summer workshop for kids for the past several years. Nirmala oversees Storytrails Kids in Mumbai.

Sandiya: 'Sandy' as she is better known, is a qualified Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer from Anna University. She is also a certified Interior Designer, a talented singer, dancer and a budding poet. At Storytrails, she wears the hat of a Research Associate and a Storyteller.

Margaret: Margaret has dabbled in a lot of professions including catering, public relations and human resources. Currently, she manages a recruitment consultancy, is a corporate trainer for inter personal and behavioural skills and is also a visiting faculty at some management institutes in Mumbai. She is passionate about teaching, children and animals, not necessarily in that order. Margaret heads the Mumbai branch of Storytrails.

Shreya: A trained Bharathnatyam dancer with a passion for theatre, film making and flying, Shreya holds a Bachelors in Psychology and a Post graduate diploma in Arts Management. She is an avid photographer with a natural inclination for art history and temple art and architecture. More often than not you will find her behind the lens of her camera. She has also volunteered in several NGO's to assess cases of domestic violence. At storytrails she is a Research Associate and Storyteller. 

Lavanya: Lavanya loves hearing and telling a good tale, especially if it is funny. She is a repository of bizarre trivia and unusual stories, which come in handy as a Research Associate and Storyteller. She is a science enthusiast, an avid reader, a logophile, a bibliophile, and  a graduate in the History of Art from Bryn Mawr College.

Lalitha: Lalitha has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo, New York, and has worked with reputed financial organizations in Manhattan. She is passionate about traveling, loves working with kids and has volunteered regularly for organizations that reach out to underprivileged kids through art. At Storytrails, she is a Research Associate and Storyteller, specializing in kids’ trails.

Poornima: Poornima has an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and a post graduate diploma in Journalism and Mass Communications from Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai.  She has many years of experience in Customer Service, Product Design & Delivery. She has written articles and reviews on a wide range of subjects, is a Royal Enfield bike enthusiast, has staged and performed in theatre productions and is a collector of children’s fiction.
At Storytrails, Poornima is responsible for managing ongoing process improvements.

Naresh: Naresh is a talented artist and brilliant with his pencil. He is currently pursuing an Advanced Character Animation program and is a Design Assistant at Storytrails.
